Campaign: Eating to Extinction: Eat until it runs out

Crowdfunding runs from October to November. The target amount is 20 k. for translating the book Eating to extinction into Dutch and making it available to a wider audience. Publishing our own supplement of Dutch examples of forgotten, lost or extinct food products/traditions/crafts. We offer sponsors and supporters a kick-off conference on November 26 and a fundraising dinner for 100 companies on Terra Madre day on December 10. This should be the starting signal to set up a national network in which we will support entrepreneurs, farmers, urban farmers, chefs, community kitchens, processors and institutions with bringing or keeping food on the market that contributes to richer, fairer food security and biodiversity.

What can you do:

• advice in crowdfunding process
• hands-on help with content and communication
• connecting with potential supporters
• help organize the conference on November 26
• help organization, promotion 10 Dec. fundraising dinner
• make a substantive contribution to the conference with a presentation (if this also ties in with the objective of the meeting)
• providing space for conference and/or dinner
• making products/services available that we can hand out in goodie bags during the conference or dinner
• use available communication channels (podcast, newsletters, vlog, etc.)
• providing an internal presentation on Eating to extinction
• Offer conference, book and dinner to your own network and affiliates
• looking at opportunities for collaboration
