Summary
We're looking for a volunteer to coach and empower girls in Amsterdam aged 9 - 14 to be Fearless through Bouldering!Detailed description
Want to volunteer to empower Fearless girls of the future? We want to hear from you!
At Project Fearless, we believe in giving girls the space, time and tools to figure out who they are — not who they’re expected to be. Where they can explore out of their comfort zones and play without the pressure of perfection: moving, building, getting messy and making new friends!
We do so with sport and creative programs that offer this safe space, with a focus on play, and our built in Fearless methodology of self-empowerment and leadership.
Who: Looking for assistant coaches for Bouldering!
* No coaching experience required- we will teach you!
See Them, Be Them
Our Coaches identify with the female experience and are passionate about creating safe and empowering spaces.
We believe the best way to empower and inspire our girls is to bring accessible role models into our programs: our Coaches. That way, we can show Fearless kids what’s possible for their own futures.
The Set Up
Our volunteer-based coaching teams are a super-important part of Project Fearless. Under guidance from our coaches training days, coaches playbooks, and the Project Fearless Team, Coaches plan and lead our courses. They create an inspiring and inclusive atmosphere for Fearless kids and fellow Coaches.
Every course has at least one Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Junior Coach, so you’ll always be coaching as part of a supportive crew.
Time Commitment
Our courses run in 8-week seasons, with one session per week. Bouldering for our summer season is from 17:00-19:00, from 13 May to 1 July, on Tuesdays (excluding school holidays).
We work with corporate volunteering hours and are happy to chat with you about how we can collaborate!
Language
We run our courses in English and/or Dutch (depending on the kids who’ve signed up and the course location). Coaches who can switch between languages are a plus, but this isn’t a must-have.
