You can do that at Markant. You decide when and how often you want to be deployed. Markant supports informal carers. These are people who intensively care for a sick loved one, such as their father or mother, neighbour, child or other loved one. To be able to keep up with this care, they need some rest now and then.
As a volunteer at Markant you can really mean something to someone. Just by being there, paying attention or doing something fun together. This can be done, for example, by playing games together with the person who is cared for by an informal carer, going to the market together, talking about the past or drinking coffee together. This is possible from an hour a week or more. Just what you want. And when you want.
We work with all kinds of target groups; children, young people, adults and the elderly. You choose what suits you. And we ensure a good match.
As a volunteer you can participate in training sessions and meetings for free. And you will be reimbursed for expenses. In addition, you make new contacts, it helps with your personal development and it looks good on your CV.
