Summary
We are seeking a skilled volunteer Copywriter/Proofreader to join us project based. This role involves proofreading English translations of our methods.Detailed description
Role Overview: We seek a volunteer Copywriter/Proofreader to refine the English translations of three books, each approximately 200 pages, translated from Dutch using DeepL and reviewed by our translator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proofreading: Ensure linguistic accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
- Copywriting: Enhance translated content for fluency in US English.
- Quality Assurance: Align content with Girls Forward's tone and mission.
- Collaboration: Work with the volunteer translator to address nuances.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Dutch and US English.
- Good proofreading and copywriting skills
- Passion for empowering girls and supporting educational initiatives.
- Experience in translation, proofreading, or copywriting is a plus.

We proberen de leefwereld van de meiden te vergroten door het geven van workshops en trainingen waarbij maatschappelijk thema’s aan bod komen. Hiervoor werken wij veel samen met partnerorganisaties, zoals Gemeente Amsterdam, jongerenwerkers en vrijwilligers uit de buurt.
