Summary

Expats often live in a bubble of fellow internationals, but are also looking for a stronger connection with locals. We bring expats and locals together.

Detailed description

Expats often find themselves in a circle of fellow internationals, but many are eager to build connections with locals and aren’t sure how to get started. Burennetwerk brings Amsterdammers together, frequently connecting expats with native residents. These connections help bridge the gap, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the city. Working with companies based in Amsterdam, Burennetwerk aims to help expats feel more actively connected to Amsterdam and its people.

About Burennetwerk

We are Burennetwerk and we are building a city where no one is alone. We connect Amsterdammers with each other: we connect those who need help with a neighbor who can help. Whether it is a small job around the house, a nice visit or transportation to an appointment—it is the small things that together make a big difference. This way, neighbors get to know each other again and feel connected to their neighborhood.
